South Korean President Moon Jae-in speaking at the World Health Assembly through a video linik said on Monday that vaccines and treatments are “public goods” that must be “distributed equitably to the whole world”. “South Korea fully supports the efforts of the WHO to develop vaccines and treatments,” the president added while addressing the UN health body through video conferencing.

Meanwhile, Chinese President Xi Jinping said that his country will work with the UN to set up a global humanitarian response depot and hub in China to ensure the operation of COVID-19 pandemic response supply chains.
